Blocks are built of extruded aluminum and come complete with cold rolled 1/2'' diameter U-bolts, SAE plated washers and self locking nuts.
Note: For all pickups with 2-1/2'' & 3'' wide leaf springs.
Note 2: Extended Cab applications need to use Lowering
Blocks with a 2° taper, 146-6102 2'' block with 2° taper, 146-6202 3'' blocks with 2° taper.
Important Note: When lowering the rear of an S-10/S-15
4''-6'', you must check that the driveshaft yoke is
properly positioned in the transmission. This means the
rear transmission seal must be located in the original
(before lowering) position on the driveshaft yoke after
lowering. This is done to ensure enough distance for the
yoke to slip back-and-forth on the transmission output
shaft as the suspension travels up and down. If this
step is not checked and corrected if needed, then
serious damage or failure could occur.
